A partnership spanning more than half a century
For several decades, Barilla — one of the best-known Italian brands worldwide — has relied on Senzani’s solutions for pasta packaging.
The partnership started over 60 years ago, when the first vertical cartoner for small-sized pasta, running at 220 cartons/minute, was supplied. This machine became a symbol of reliability and durability, remaining in operation for over half a century, also thanks to Senzani’s after-sales service and scheduled maintenance programs.
Not only was Barilla supplied with Senzani’s longest-running machine, but also its 2000th solution, a case packer for long-cut pasta.
In total, over 40 machines have been manufactured for the multinational company and installed in various production sites around the world. These figures show a long-lasting and solid partnership, especially in short-cut pasta cartoning, where Senzani is Barilla’s main partner.
