A well-known corporation in the tobacco sector and a long-standing Senzani partner was looking for a new solution for re-packing, meant for a production plant in Turkey dedicated to duty-free products.

The chosen solution was a horizontal cartoner, an extremely compact and versatile machine handling a specific carton format of cigarette bundles.

The machine is a customised solution with special technical features:

• it handles the bundles and rotates them to vertically insert the products into the carton
• performs tuck-in flaps closing sequence
• has an independent double magazine to allow the operator the new cartons loading without working cycle interruptions
• has a compact footprint
• is user-friendly.

The Customer’s satisfaction has led to a further demand of the machine model, meant for another plant of the same corporation in Europe.
