Packaging of dry pet food in cartons
Gheda Mangimi is a company specializing in the production of pet food, with a range that includes dry kibble and dog biscuits in different varieties. We were asked to supply a vertical cartoning machine for primary packaging, capable of handling different products to be packaged in two carton formats with target weights of 400 g and 500 g.
We opted for a VCM4, a vertical cartoner to be interfaced with a multihead weigher. It operates at a speed of 60 cartons per minute, with the possibility of reaching up to 80. As with similar machines developed by Senzani, the goal is to guarantee a reliable and durable primary packaging solution, capable of adapting to product changes without interruption and ensuring maximum quality of the carton.
