An innovative solution for duty-free products
A multinational tobacco company, which has been working with Senzani for many years, requested a new solution for a complex repacking line for a production facility in Turkey dedicated to duty-free products.
The supplied solution is an HCM horizontal cartoning machine—extremely compact and versatile—designed to handle a carton format containing cigarette bundles.
This tailor-made packaging solution stands out for several technical features:
- Handling of cigarette bundles, tilting them and orienting them vertically before insertion into the carton;
- Tuck-in flap closure, eliminating the need for hot-melt glue;
- Double, independent blank magazines, allowing operators to load new cartons without stopping the production cycle;
- Compact layout;
- Ease of use.
Thanks to the excellent performance achieved, the Customer decided to purchase another identical cartoning machine for one of its European plants only a few months after installation.
