Case packers for next-generation production plants
Asian Paints, a major manufacturer in the paint industry, turned to Senzani for the supply of wrap-around case packers to be installed in two production sites in India—state-of-the-art facilities where Senzani’s solutions interface seamlessly with primary packaging equipment and end-of-line systems in a highly automated environment.
The tailor-made solutions engineered by Senzani handle the packaging of paint bins of different sizes in various configurations inside the case.
These CPWA18 wrap-around case packers feature:
- Fast and efficient format changeover
- Special pick-and-place head fitted with “zero gravity” system, which slightly lifts the bin to place them (already aligned) on the pre-formed blank, preventing the product from tipping or rubbing against the flat blank
- Automatic feeding system for flat blanks loading using LGV shuttles
- Connectivity through a modem unit enabling data exchange with the customer’s management software (for order and quantity control) and, at the same time, remote support from Senzani technicians
