The Senzani family has always wedded their entrepreneurship with an unconditional passion for art and culture, and this has resulted in an active participation to the artistic life of the city of Faenza. For this reason, in 2002 Senzani was one of the first partners to support the opening of the Museum-Lab dedicated to Carlo Zauli, a renowned ceramic sculptor who is considered to be amongst the best of the Nineteenth Century. Carlo’s son Matteo has now refurnished the original lab’s spaces turning them into a museum. The Senzani family has again chosen Matteo’s originality to make an exclusive creation in cooperation with a collective of New York’s’ artists; Matteo has manufactured a limited edition of 50 ceramic pieces as precious gifts for customers, not only for the Christmas season. The Introspective Cube – this is the name of the artwork which poetically recalls both, the company’s core business (boxes) and Zauli’s open inspiration to research on primary dimensions, adding to this aspect an in-depth profound meditation on shape’s and existence’s.
