Just a few months after its launch and at its debut in the U.S.A., U-Seal has won first prize in the Food/Beverage category at the Technology Excellence Awards. This prestigious industry recognition is presented by PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, and was hosted in Las Vegas during the Pack Expo trade show.
This award highlights Senzani’s ongoing commitment to technological innovation and sustainability in the packaging sector: U-Seal is, in fact, a cutting-edge solution for sealing cardboard packs, reducing the use of hot-melt glue and traditional adhesives.
This technology not only aims to minimize energy consumption and the use of plastic materials, but — starting from flat blanks — also allows for savings in warehouse space and transport costs, lowering the carbon footprint.
U-Seal was presented to the U.S. public for the first time in Las Vegas, where it attracted great interest among industry professionals and was selected from dozens of entries, confirming its validity and effectiveness.
