Carnex increases its production capacity by choosing Senzani cartoners once again

November 26, 2025

Presenting products impeccably at the point of sale while ensuring safe transportation is a top priority for many customers. It is precisely with this goal in mind that Carnex, a long-established Serbian producer of canned meat, has once again decided to rely on a trusted partner like Senzani.

To increase production at its Vrbas plant, a WACM60 wrap-around cartoner designed to produce tray+lid displays has been added to the two Senzani solutions that have been operating for over 10 years and are still performing perfectly.

The machine handles two types of collections (2x7x1 and 2x10x1) through a process that begins with creating the required configuration: the cans are verticalized in two rows and each row is then transferred onto a “tray” blank, which is formed around the products. The two trays are then glued together. Eventually, the “lid” blank is picked from the magazine, placed on the trays, and formed around them to complete the final packaging.

The system is designed to easily implement new formats and collections, and, with an infeed capacity of up to 500 cans per minute, the WACM60 can produce up to 60 packs per minute. All this comes in an extremely compact structure, with a footprint of just 3.7 x 2.3 meters, ideal for optimizing space in the production plant.
