Why do we process your data and when do we collect them?

Browsing Data

When users browse our website, we collect certain personal data from them, such as the IP address of the PC, or the domain names of the computers and devices used by users, the URI/URL (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and IT environment.

Data relating to our services

On our website you can also find a ‘contact us’ section, which you may use to ask us for information: if you decide to write to us, we will also process your personal data and contact details (name, surname, phone number, e-mail address). On the website you can also subscribe to our newsletter; in this case we will process your name, surname and e-mail address.

If you would like to apply for a job with us, you can fill in the application form and/or upload your CV in the dedicated section and send it to our recruiters: in this case we will only process the data required to evaluate your application.

What does the law allow us to do?

EU Regulation 679/2016 (GDPR) allows us to process the different types of data we have pointed out above for the following purposes:

Browsing Data

We need this data for statistical purposes, to improve our website and to protect the security of your navigation. These data do not allow your identification. We process this data on the basis of our legitimate interest and that of the user (Art. 6 letter f) of the GDPR).

We also collect data for the purpose of analysing and processing information about you, your preferences, habits, consumption choices and/or browsing experiences. Data relating to the contact form (Data relating to our services)

We process your contact data such as first name, last name, phone number, and e-mail address in order to be able to process your contact request. The GDPR allows us to process this data without your consent because it is needed to fulfil pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 letter b) of the GDPR). You can always decide not to provide us with the data but you will not be able to send us any request for quotation.

Communications and newsletters (Data relating to our services)

Collection of data for the purpose of sending newsletters and information material on company activities. Processing for these purposes is carried out on the basis of a legitimate interest of the Data Controller to keep you informed about our latest projects and what we believe may be of interest to you: you may however unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of the e-mails you receive (Art. 6 letter f) of the GDPR).

Job applications (Data relating to our services)

We process the data you decide to send us in order to apply to work with us, such as, for sure, those relating to your education and professional background; we may also gain knowledge of your more sensitive data (e.g. belonging to a legally protected category, ethnic origin). The GDPR allows us to process this data without your consent because it is necessary to fulfil pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 letter b) of the GDPR) and to assess your suitability for the job (Art. 9 letter b) of the GDPR).

How do we process your data?

Your data is processed using tools and procedures that guarantee security and confidentiality, and may be processed both through our website and through other electronic tools (e.g. internal management software) and sometimes with the help of printed material. In addition to the Data Controller, in some cases, other subjects involved in the organisation of this website (administrative staff, sales staff, system administrators, etc.) or external subjects (such as third-party technical service providers, hosting providers, IT companies, communication agencies) which we appoint, in the cases provided for by the law, Data Processors, may have access to the data. How long do we retain your data?

Browsing data: the data collected by the website during its operation is stored for the time strictly necessary to carry out the mentioned activities. On expiry, the data will be erased or anonymised, unless there is no further purpose for retaining it. The Data Controller has no control over cookies entirely managed by third parties and has no access to the information collected through these cookies. Data relating to our services: 

  • Data relating to the contact form: the data will be retained for the time strictly necessary to process the submitted request.
  • Data relating to the newsletter: the data will be retained for 5 years from the last interaction or until you withdraw your consent (opt-out) and/or request erasure.
  • Data relating to job applications: the data will be retained for 18 months from the submission of the job application.

Where is your data?

The processing we carry out with your personal data relating to our services takes place on European soil. We have chosen partners that allow us to keep the data within the European Union, in accordance with the requirements of the Regulation. Your Browsing Data (IP address), on the other hand, through the installation of cookies (for more information on cookies please read our Cookie policy), may be transferred outside the European Union, and in particular to the USA (for example Google) with adequate safeguards.

Who has access to Your data?

Your data may be made accessible to employees and collaborators of the Data Controller in their capacity as data processors and/or system administrators and/or to other entities (e.g. professional firms, consulting firms, software houses that provide management software, etc.) that perform outsourced activities on behalf of the Data Controller, in their capacity as external data processors.

The Data Controller may disclose your data to Public Administration, Supervisory Authorities and/or Judicial Authorities as well as to all other subjects to whom the disclosure is mandatory or required by law. Your data shall not be made public.

As data subject, in the cases provided for, you have the right to obtain access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data; to obtain restriction of the processing of your personal data or to object to the processing of your personal data. Protection of the privacy of minors

This website is intended for a general audience, but its services are intended for people aged 18 or older. We do not request, collect, use or disclose personal data from anyone under the age of 18 online. Should we discover that we have personally collected data from a minor, we will erase it immediately.
